Who we are
From research ship to classroom.
We are a community of dedicated educators who are alumni of NOAA’s Teacher at Sea program.
Since 1990, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Teacher at Sea Program has welcomed more than 850 educators to sail aboard research ships and gain hands-on, real-world experiences. The Teacher at Sea Program provides a unique opportunity for kindergarten through college-level educators in all subject areas, as well as informal educators, to sail and work at sea with world-renowned NOAA scientists.
